Our stay at the Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway Inn was truly exceptional! The location is perfect, just a short drive from Yosemite National Park, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel even has its restaurant for a convenient dinner option, but what truly stood out was the breakfast. It was delicious and offered a wide selection, all served in a beautifully maintained and neat breakfast area. The hotel layout is unique, with several buildings. We stayed in one at the top, which added to the charm. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a balcony overlooking trees with a lovely view such a peaceful setting! The shower was fantastic, providing the perfect way to relax after exploring. The staff at the front desk were exceptional, offering warm and attentive service. The front desk area itself was beautifully decorated, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yosemite!

The Room - very roomy and the beds were comfortable. We especially like having two king beds. Breakfast was great all three mornings. Staff super helpful and nice. Please keep the buffet w/the staff serving the food. It made us feel safe with how many guests were partaking in breakfast. The restaurant was...well...wow! Our favorites were the humongous Pretzel and Cioppino was absolutely incredible. They kindly gave us a late checkout, which was especially nice because we were not able to experience any snow.

The breakfast was terrific with a generous amount of options. The staff were all exceptionally courteous. The rooms were clean and had good amount of tech for the modern traveler (casting to the large Samsung TVs, plenty of USB-A/C chargers and outlets. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids. Oh, and the rooms are grouped into these mini-clusters of male 10 rooms max in buildings spread throughout the property, so it's more cozy than staying in one giant building. Quieter too. Great stay, highly recommended!

It was very quiet, clean, with daily housekeeping. I never got the coffee maker to work. That would be my only complaint. We dined the 1st night at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It was good, the staff was friendly. The hotel is on a steep hill. Our room was at the top of that hill. My husband and I are in terrible shape. Walking down the hill was ok, enjoyable. Walking back up the hill with full stomachs was not possible, we asked for a hotel golf cart ride to our room, they were very abilging..

Location is perfect, staff is friendly. We had a nice balcony with chairs. Coffee was good. A great place to sleep before visiting Yosemite. I will definitely choose the same hotel if I ever get the change to visit Oakhurst. The hot tub outside was awesome. The water was so hot and we had a nice relaxing night each day we stayed there. Don't hesitate and book the hotel. Food was okay, nice touch was ready to take chocolate soya milk and paper cups for takeaway coffee and tea.
